They Light A Way That Only Leads To Shallow Graves

I’m a long way from home. But in 2 days time, I’ll be in New Jersey receiving one of the greatest Christmas gifts of all time. White Wives have been invited to play this year’s Home For The Holidays showcase hosted by The Bouncing Souls. Now, I have a splendid history with the Souls. I played trumpet for them on “The Pizza Song” in the winter of 2006. I also played guitar alongside them on “True Believers” last year on Warped Tour 2010. However, my biggest wish has always been to play a show with my own band on the same bill. That day has finally arrived and I couldn’t be more stoked. As soon as I caught wind of it, I cleared my schedules back home and decided to skip out on Christmas back home. In all honesty, it would’ve been a very lonely and surely depressing Christmas back home. I’m extremely grateful to be out here in Pennsylvania spending it with my bandmates and new friends of New England. It’s been a fantastic year and I’m extremely excited about the future with White Wives. To those of you who just love to get off on the whole “fuck Christmas, fuck the holidays etc etc” thing, you can go ahead and shove a lump of coal up your ass. Stop being such a tool. Happy Holidays ;) I love you all. Thanks for making my 2011 an amazing year!
